EMIR OF ZAZZAU CALLS ON AUTHORS TO WRITE AND PUBLISH HISTORY OF NOTABLE NIGERIANS WHO DISTINGUISH THEMSELVES                                                                              05-11-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       The Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamali has called on book authors across the country to write more and publish history of Nigerians who sacrifice their lives for the unity and development of the country.

He stated this at the book launch of Late General Abba Abdulkadir popularly known as 3 – 3 held in Kaduna.

Ambassador Bamali said such books will help younger generation to understand their rigorous struggle and sacrifices toward ensuring the survival of the country for them to emulate.

The Emir commended the author of the book for her bold step and commitment in writing the history of her father which he said would enable other members of the family to have full knowledge about late General Abba Abdulkadir.

Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamali described late General Abba Abdulkadir as a hero because he had made significant contribution for the unity and development of Nigeria.

“Late Abba Abdulkadir was among the top military officers in Northern Nigeria and the country as a whole”

He expressed appreciation to the Emir Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero for attending the historic event as well as other important personalities that grace the occasion.

In a remark, the Author of the book and daughter of the deceased, Hajiya Kilima Abba explained that, she had published about fifteen books which encouraged her to put the history of her late father Into writing.

“I am the author, i wrote about fifteen books, then i decided to say something about my father and my family that makes me as a writer, writing something about my background of late father ”

According to her, the ceremony of book Presentation, entitled Abba 3-3 and family is aimed at commemorating their late father, General Abba Abdulkadir, popularly known as General Abba 3-3.

Hajiya Kilima Abba noted that, the book contained testimonies and the information about the late General for the benefit for his extended family as well as the general public.

She commended General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, General Ali Gusau, Emirs of Katsina, Zazzau and Kano, the Chief Launcher, Alhaji Kassimu Musa Bichi as well as the family members for their support and encouragement.

Hajiya Kilima said her late father was kind, humble and committed in supporting his family and members of the public.

“My father died at the age of 51, he was a soldier, he has three wives and eighteen children ”

She also extended her gratitude to all members of the book Launching Committee for a well done Job.

Speaking with newsmen, the third Wive of General Abba Abdulkadir, Hajiya Hauwa Usman said the life of her late Husband was a worthy of emulation, described him as a man that exhibit kindness and fairness to all his wives.

Professor Mohammed Muttaqa Usman was the book reviewer of the book.

Representatives of General Aliyu Gusau and Emir of Katsina attended the event, and other distinguished Nigerians, family members and friends also attended the launching.

Hausa traditional singer were also at the event.
