NLC INSIST ON PROTEST AS WORKERS’ FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT                                                                                          25-02-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                     The Nigeria Labour Congress and Civil Society allies are going ahead with planned protest against economic hardship and insecurity in line with the decision of the National Executive Council.

In a statement by the the President of NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero on Sunday, say the citizens have a fundamental right to peaceful protest on 27th and 28thbof Fdbruary, 2024.

Comrade Ajaero urged the federal government to find solutions to the pains, economic hardship and hunger Nigerians are going through.

“All we are saying now is that; let there be food for the people, let the people live in safety, let the people live a life of dignity devoid”.

NLC President said the Congress remained resolute, determined to proceed on the planned protest on 27th and 28th of February, 2024.
