By Sadiq Aminu                                                        The Kano State Hisbah Board has urged those involved in immoral acts and other societal vices to repent and present themselves to the board for rehabilitation.

The commander general Kano State Hisbah board Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa made the call shortly after his return to Hisbah headquarters in Sharada after the reconciliation between him and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

He explained that a new program for those engaged in immoral acts who are willing to repent would be initiated where they would be empowered with entrepreneurship skills and provided with a start-up. Capital to make them self-reliant.

According to him, his earlier verbal resignation was due to a viral video which was recorded five months ago and sent to the state governor.

The commander general pointed out that, the board would remain steadfast in the fight against immorality and zero tolerance for societal vices.

“We want all boarding schools both male and female to have Hisbah office to enable them to preach to students on proper upbringing”

Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim maintained that the state has pledged to provide more operational vehicles for the board to support the fight against immorality tagged “Operation Kau da Badala”

Africa 247 reports that Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa was welcomed by his deputy Sheikh Mujahid Aminudeen Abubakar, the director general of the board Alhaji Abba Sa’id Sufi, deputy commander general women wing Dr Khadijah Sageer, staff and members of the public.
