YOBE GOVERNMENT DISTRIBUTES IFTAR COOKING MATERIALS TO FEEDING CENTERS ACROSS THE STATE                                                           15-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      Yobe State Government has begun the distribution of Iftar cooking materials to all the feeding center across the state, for the Holy Month of Ramadan

The state commissioner for Religious Affairs and Ethical Re-orientation Alh. Yusuf Umar said the distributions are aimed at feeding the less privileged, and the needy as examplified by the Holy Prophet Peace Be Upon Him.

Alh Umar Explained that the state government has expanded the feeding centers from 67 to 84 and each center is expected to entertain about 200 people daily.

He noted that each of the centers has been provided with all the needed cooking materials and allowances for the cooks have been disbursed..

Itemizing the materials provided for the feeding, the commissioner said Rice, Cooking Oil, Meat, Maggie and other needed ingredients have all been provided.

While thanking governor Mai Mala Buni for his efforts to feed the needy during the Holy Month Of Ramadan, the commissioner called those entrusted with the cooking activities to show compassion, be Honest and avoid been selfish.

He warned that government would closely monitor all their activities to make sure the right thing is done.
