FEC STEPS DOWN THE MEMORANDUM ON THE NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE PRESENTED BEFORE IT FOR DISCUSSION-MINISTER                                                                                                      25-06-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   The Federal Executive Council has stepped down the memorandum on the National Minimum Wage presented before it for discussion.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammes Idris, stated this while briefing Africa 247 correspondents on the development.

He said the aim was to allow the President consult State and Local Governments, which also have a stake in the matter.

Alhaji Muhammad Idris assured that once the consultation was done, the government would announce the amount adopted.
