CURFEW SUSPENDED: KANO STATE GOVERNMENT SUSPEND CURFEW 12-08-24
By Sadiq Aminu Kano state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has suspended curfew imposed on the state over the violence that characterised the Hunger protests in the state.
The State Commissioner for Information, Halilu Baba Dantiye, disclosed this in a media broadcast in Kano.
He said governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has suspended the Curfew Imposed in the state following the return of normalcy.
Africa247 recalled that Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf had on August 1st, 2024 announced a 24-hour curfew after the nationwide peaceful protest in the state tuned violence with the destruction of public and private property and looting.
And later relaxed it to 6am to 6pm.
