ONDO COUNCIL OF TRADITIONAL RULERS SEEKS PEACEFUL, SPEEDY SELECTION OF A NEW OWA OF IDANRE 22-12-24

The Ondo State Council of Traditional Rulers has called on the people of Idanre land to peacefully and quickly present a new Owa to fill the vacuum created by the passage of the late Oba Dr. Frederick Aroloye who joined his ancestors on Tuesday, 30th of July 2024 after 48 years on the throne.
The Chairman of the council and the Deji of Akure , Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo represented by the Zaki of Arigidi-Akoko , Oba Alhaji (Dr.) Yisa Olanipekun, the Zaki of Arigidi Akoko made the call during a visit to Idanre’s palace.
The council implored the people of Idanre land to fast track the emergence of a new Owa to prevent prolonged succession issue.
Oba Olanipekun observed that the council missed the wise counsel experience and God fearing contributions of the late Oba Aroloye and prayed for peace in Idanre land as they go about the selection of a new King.

High Chief Christopher Akindolire represented by the Odunwo, High Chief Emmanuel Adetuyi thanked the royal fathers for the visit and gave an assurance that the good people of idanre were working towards the emergence of a new Owa under a rancour free atmosphere.
