By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   A member representing Ifo Ewekoro Federal Constituency of Ogun State Mr. Ibrahim Isiyaka, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives.
Announcing the appointment of Mr. Isiyaka as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House during the plenary, the Speaker House of Representatives Dr Tajudeen Abbas, said Mr. Isiyaka would replaced late Mrs Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, a member representing Ikenne, Sagamu, Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State who died on the 15th of January.
The Speaker also announced the defection of a member representing Zangon Kataf, Jaba Federal Constituency of Kaduna, Dr. Amos Magaji from the People’s Democratic Party PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Reading the defection letter of Dr. Magaji in the floor of the House, Dr. Magaji said he left PDP because of the unresolved crises from the National level to the ward level.
According to the Member representing Zagon Kataf Jaba Federal Constituency of Kaduna State explained that no Political Party will grow in the atmosphere of Crises.
