KANO STATE INDUCTS 70 NEW STATE COUNSEL TO to BOOST JUSTICE SECTOR                                                              14-02-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                    The Kano State Government has taken a significant step to bolster its justice sector by inducting 70 new state counsel into the Ministry of Justice.

This historic move, the first of its kind since the state’s creation in 1967, aims to enhance the state’s justice system, ensuring timely and effective justice services.

The induction ceremony, which took place at the Institute of Anti-Corruption in Goron Dutse, marked the beginning of a 3-day training program covering essential topics such as court procedures, legal drafting, and advocacy.

This training will equip the new state counsel with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively discharge their duties.

Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Haruna Isah, emphasized the importance of this induction, stating that the new state counsel will strengthen the state’s justice system.

Barr. Dederi commended the incumbent administration for employing the new state counsel, highlighting the Governor’s commitment to reforming the justice sector.

The Kano State Government’s efforts to reform the justice sector are expected to have a positive impact on the administration of justice, ensuring citizens have improved access to justice services and their rights are protected.
