Osun State National Assembly Caucus pointed out that in the last few hours some local government workers, and other innocent persons have been shot, brutalised, and harassed by thugs and security men thereby causing unnecessary tension in the State.
Mr. Salam explained that despite the Schedule of Local Government election for this Saturday, some local government officials that were sacked two years ago want to forcefully take over office in a manner that disrupts the peace of the state.
The Caucus stressed that if urgent measures were not taken this is an invitation to anarchy thereby causing chaos and mayhem which has threatened the relative peace being enjoyed by the good people of Osun State under the stewardship of the Governor Ademola Adeleke.
