BOLA AHMED TINUBU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT MINNA TO COMMENCE FULL COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS                                                                                  07-03-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                    Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago said arrangements are being concluded for full traffic at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport Minna by April this year.

Governor Bago disclosed this when he hosted the Son of the President Seyi Tinubu, the Minister of Youth development Ayodele Olawande, CEO National Agricultural Land Development Authority Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo on a courtesy visit to the Government House Minna.

The Governor explained that commercial air transport operations would commence in earnest from Lagos to Minna on a daily basis while by June, it would extend to Kano explaining that the plan is to have ten aircrafts operating at the Airport.

He explained that two out of the ten aircrafts some would be used as cargoes in shipping goods to Brazil and Saudi Arabia.

Governor Bago stated that the State has been working with all key players for advice and provision of safety measures for travelers.
