LASWA ANNOUNCES IT’S OFFICIAL TAKE OFF, OF IT’S OMNI BUS FERRY SERVICES IN LAGOS TODAY 14-03-25
By Sadiq Aminu The Management of the Lagos State Waterways Authority, LASWA, has announced its official take off, of its OMNI BUS Ferry Services in Lagos today.
This marks a new era of safe, efficient and reliable water transport service for Lagos residents across the Metropolis.
Ready to sail today, for commercial operations, the OMNI BUS Ferries are set to provide seamless and affordable water transport services across the different routes in Lagos by easing traffic congestion on the roads while offering the Lagos commuters a faster , safe and a most convenient alternative mode to roads transport.
In a Statement signed by the Public Relations Officer for LASWA, Mr Oluwa Danmola Emmanuel, the state of the art new locally made boats will be operated by well trained Crew with strict adherence to safety protocols.
The Ferries are set to provide Passengers a world class water transport experience.
The Statement further explains that, the Ferries will operate along major routes like Ikorodu/ Falomo, Falomo/Apapa, CMS/ Apapa, Badore/Falomo and to the other connectivity areas.
Each Ferry is adequately equipped with life jackets, emergency rescue response system with WiFi service as well as onboard security guarantee for passengers safety at all times.
