PDP IN NASARAWA STATE CONSTITUTES THREE COMMITTEES TO ENSURE SMOOTH PROCESS OF REPOSITIONING THE PARTY                                                                                                                    08-05-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                          Following the confirmation of election of Executives of the People’s Democratic party PDP in Nasarawa state by the Appeal Court sitting in Makurdi recently, the state working committee has constituted three committees to ensure smooth process of repositioning the party.

They are Reconciliation, Finance and Disciplinary committees.

Inaugurating the committees at the party secretariat in lafia, the Nasarawa state chairman of PDP, Alhaji Adamu Bako Ninga noted that members were carefully selected in cognizance of their integrity, track record, Commitment and loyalty to the party..

Alhaji Bako Ninga explained that members which include elderstatesmen ,women and youths across the 13 local government areas of the state, have been mandated to visit aggrieved members and convince them to bury the hatchet and join forces to deliver the party in future general elections at all levels..

“Even if it means I… the chairman of the party to go and appeal to our aggrieved members who took us to court to come let’s work together for the betterment of the PDP in Nasarawa…I would gladly do so”..

Chairman of the Reconciliation committee, Alhaji Sule Nasidi assured the state working committee to do a thorough job to make the aggrieved members of the PDP in the state to see reason why they have to come back to the round table and talk as a family..

Similarly chairman of the Finance committee and former minister of information Mr Labaran Maku said the party cannot afford to loose any member at this point in time.
Labaran Maku adviced leadership of the party to also pay a visit to some key aggrieved members including serving senator Mohammed Onawo,senator Suleiman Adokwe, former deputy Governor Mike Abdul and retired major general Nuhu Angbazo among others..

The Reconciliation committee has four weeks to submit its report to the PDP state Working committee.
