KEBBI GOVERNOR DONATES VEHICLES TO STRENGTHEN HISBAH, ZAKKAT BOARDS

Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has donated six operational vehicles to the Hisbah and Zakkat Boards to support their activities and improve service delivery.
Speaking during the official handover at Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Governor Idris said the donation reflects his administration’s resolve to provide the right environment and resources for agencies to function effectively. He noted that the vehicles will help the Boards carry out their duties more efficiently and reassured that the Preaching Board will also benefit soon.
The vehicles were received on behalf of the Boards by the Chairman of the Zakkat Board, Sheikh Umar Isah, alongside the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Architect Sani Aliyu.
Governor Idris expressed confidence that the vehicles would be put to good use in advancing the roles of Hisbah and Zakkat in promoting social and religious values across the state.
