APC SLAMS OPPOSITION OVER SECURITY, GOVERNANCE FAILURE

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has criticized the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors over their comments on the Katsina killings, calling them insensitive and a betrayal of citizens.
APC spokesman Felix Morka said such tragedies should unite Nigerians, not be used for politics. He dismissed ADC’s call for President Bola Tinubu to remain in the country as “lame and senseless,” stressing that government security efforts are yielding results, citing recent Nigeria-Chad raids that captured Boko Haram and Ansaru leaders.
Morka added that Tinubu’s administration has shown strong commitment to security through new special forces, a revised National Security Strategy, higher defence spending, and regional partnerships.
He accused PDP Governors of neglecting their duties despite huge federal allocations, pointing to APC’s victories in recent bye-elections, even in opposition states, as proof of growing support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
