Vice President Kashim Shettima is back in Abuja after representing President Tinubu at the UN General Assembly in New York and holding key meetings in Germany.
At the UN, he pushed for reforms, defended Africa’s control of its resources, and pitched Nigeria’s $200bn energy opportunities to global investors. He also met UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who praised Nigeria’s Security Council bid.
In Germany, Shettima deepened strategic ties and reassured Nigerians abroad of stronger inclusion in government policies. He was received at the airport by top officials, including FRCN DG Dr. Mohammed Bulama.
