HAJJ 2026: SAUDI ARABIA REAFFIRMS STRICT HEALTH RULES FOR PILGRIMS

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has reiterated that all intending pilgrims for Hajj 2026 must meet its medical fitness requirements before being allowed to perform the pilgrimage.
According to the new circular, pilgrims must provide medical certificates confirming they are free from serious conditions such as organ failure, severe neurological or psychiatric disorders, dementia, high-risk pregnancy, cancer under treatment, and infectious diseases like tuberculosis or hemorrhagic fever.
Saudi health authorities also stressed that all pilgrims must present valid vaccination certificates for COVID-19, meningitis, polio, and yellow fever before entry into the Kingdom.
