GOVERNOR IDRIS APPROVES ₦1.4BN FOR SCHOOL FURNITURE, ₦900M FOR STATISTICS BUREAU

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has approved ₦1.4 billion for the procurement of school furniture across the state to boost the education sector.
Chief of Staff, Barr. Attahiru Maccido, said the move reflects the governor’s commitment to improving learning conditions and raising educational standards in both urban and rural schools.
In the same vein, Governor Idris also approved ₦900 million as a take-off grant for the newly established Kebbi State Bureau of Statistics to enhance data-driven governance and effective policy planning.
