GOVERNOR DAUDA LAWAL NOT LEAVING PDP — AIDE CLEARS AIR

The Senior Special Assistant on Broadcast Media, Press, and Public Affairs to the Zamfara State Governor, Mustapha Jafaru Kaura, has dismissed rumours that Governor Dauda Lawal plans to leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking with newsmen in Gusau, Kaura described the report as false and baseless, saying it was meant to mislead the public and create unnecessary political tension.

He reaffirmed that Governor Lawal remains a loyal PDP member who was overwhelmingly elected under the party in 2023. Kaura added that there is no reason for the governor to abandon the party that brought him to power.

He urged the public to disregard the rumours, assuring that the governor remains focused on delivering good governance and fulfilling his campaign promises to the people of Zamfara State.
