ADC CLARIFIES LEADERSHIP ISSUE IN ADAMAWA

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has confirmed that Mr. Sadiq Dasin’s emergence as interim chairman in Adamawa State followed the approved guidelines of its National Working Committee (NWC).
In a statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said Dasin’s election, supervised by Mr. Babachir Lawal, complied with the NWC’s earlier decision to set up interim executives across states.
Abdullahi urged members involved in parallel arrangements to embrace reconciliation, while encouraging Dasin to unite all factions and address legitimate concerns.
The ADC reaffirmed its commitment to fairness, justice, and internal discipline, warning against actions that could undermine efforts to strengthen the party.
The party’s leadership crisis had involved Dasin, aligned with Babachir Lawal, and Saidu Komsiri, loyal to Aishatu “Binani” Ahmed, former APC governorship candidate.
