Kebbi State Police have successfully repelled a bandits’ attack in Zodi village, Zuru LGA, following an early morning raid on November 29, 2025. Officers engaged the criminals in heavy gunfire, neutralizing several while others fled into the forest.

During a subsequent search, police recovered 96 cows, 45 sheep, and two motorcycles. The livestock has been returned to the village head for safe handover to their owners, while the motorcycles are under investigation to trace their owners.
