KEBBI POLICE FOIL BANDITS, RECOVER 141 RUSTLED LIVESTOCK AND TWO MOTORCYCLES

Kebbi State Police have successfully repelled a bandits’ attack in Zodi village, Zuru LGA, following an early morning raid on November 29, 2025. Officers engaged the criminals in heavy gunfire, neutralizing several while others fled into the forest.
During a subsequent search, police recovered 96 cows, 45 sheep, and two motorcycles. The livestock has been returned to the village head for safe handover to their owners, while the motorcycles are under investigation to trace their owners.
The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, CP Bello M. Sani, praised the bravery of the 36 PMF personnel, urging them to maintain vigilance in protecting residents.
