By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Kano State Police Command has launched a “Crime-Free Christmas” campaign as part of its POCACOV initiative to combat cultism, thuggery, drug abuse, and other social vices. Led by CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, police officers and community members conducted sensitization walks across markets and motor parks to promote public awareness and preventive policing.

CP Bakori highlighted the importance of intelligence-led and community-based policing to strengthen security and collaboration with residents. The initiative reflects the Command’s commitment to proactive crime prevention and a safer Kano for all.
