The Dabban Development Foundation has successfully convened its 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM), marking another milestone in its drive to promote unity, service and sustainable development within the Dabban community. The meeting, which attracted key stakeholders and community leaders, featured the presentation of awards to deserving individuals and groups in recognition of their consistent and impactful contributions to the growth of Dabban.
Speaking at the event, leaders of the foundation underscored the need for collective responsibility, unity of purpose and continued community service as critical pillars for lasting development. They expressed appreciation to stakeholders whose dedication and support have strengthened the foundation’s vision and helped advance initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the community.
The spirit of unity and togetherness was further reflected in a related family event hosted by Malam Abdulrahim Muhammad Dabban, who held the engagement ceremony of his daughter with Malam Mohammed Abubakar Dabban and Safiya Abdulrahim. The ceremony drew a large gathering of dignitaries, elders and well-wishers from different segments of the Dabban community, reinforcing shared values of family, tradition and mutual respect.
Leading prayers at the ceremony, Alhaji Baba M. Dabban offered heartfelt supplications for the couple, prayed for a peaceful, successful and blessed marriage, and thanked all attendees for honouring the family with their presence. His message emphasized gratitude, harmony and the importance of upholding cultural and moral values.
