PANIC IN KEBBI AS EXPLOSION HITS BAGUDO GENERAL HOSPITAL

Residents of Bagudo, Kebbi State, were thrown into panic following a loud explosion at the Bagudo General Hospital. The Police confirmed the incident, stating that security agencies, including the military and vigilante groups, swiftly secured the area.
SP Bashir Usman, Police PRO, said there were no casualties, though a building in the staff quarters was damaged. Occupants had safely evacuated, and experts are assessing the site. Additional tactical deployments have been ordered while a full investigation is ongoing to determine the cause.
Authorities have urged residents to remain calm and avoid the hospital vicinity, noting that normalcy is gradually returning as security operations continue.
