KANO POLICE RECOVER STOLEN TOYOTA SIENNA, RETURN IT TO OWNER

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Kano State Police Command has returned a stolen Toyota Sienna to its owner, Mr. Ali Alti, following a successful intelligence-led operation. The maroon vehicle, valued at about ₦20 million, was reported stolen from Maiduguri, Borno State, earlier this month and was allegedly taken by a security watchman.

Police officers recovered the car in Hotoro Arewa Quarters, Kano, under directives from the Inspector-General of Police to enhance strategic patrols. The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, verified ownership before releasing the vehicle.

The command praised the officers for their efforts and urged continued public cooperation in safeguarding lives and property.
