            By Sadiq Aminu                                                               The Emir of Gaya, Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulqadir, has turbaned Malam Sunusi Garba as the Village Head of Yautar Arewa and Sule Abubakar as the Village Head of Gumawa, both in Gabasawa Local Government Area.

The turbaning ceremony was held in a grand event attended by community members, local leaders, and well-wishers.

The Emir emphasized the importance of traditional institutions in fostering unity, peace, and development within the community.

He expressed confidence on the new village heads, urging them to serve their people with dedication, integrity, and fairness.

Sunusi Garba and Sule Abubakar expressed their gratitude for the honour bestowed upon them and pledged to work tirelessly for the progress and prosperity of their respective villages.

They promised to uphold the values of tradition and culture while also embracing modernity to meet the evolving needs of their communities.

The turbaning ceremony was marked by traditional music, dance, and cultural displays, showcasing the rich heritage of the Gaya emirate.
