EID-EL KABIR: NSCDC DEPLOYS OVER 3000 OPERATIVES TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE SECURITY IN KWARA STATE 14-06-24
By Sadiq Aminu Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC has deployed over three thousand personnel to beef up security during and after the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
According to a statement by Mr Michael Ayoola spokesperson of the Command, the Sector Commandant, Dr Umar Mohammed said the deployment would span across the sixteen Local Government Areas of the state with special attention to high-risk areas such as black spots, flashpoints, vulnerable locations, and places with frequent criminal activities.
The Commandant also instructed Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders and Divisional Officers, to conduct continuous patrols and ensure extensive deployment to guarantee a smooth and safe celebration.
He also issued stern warning to miscreants, vandals, and others identified as potential troublemakers planning to disrupt the peace and order during the festive period, to desist from such actions.
Commandant Mohammed stressed that his command is fully prepared and equipped to enforce the law, ensuring that offenders face the full consequences of their actions.
While congratulating Muslim faithful in the state on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the Kwara NSCDC Commandant urged them to support the corps and other security agencies by reporting suspicious individuals or activities that could threaten the peace and stability of the state.
