MOON SIGHTING: THE SULTAN OF SOKOTO CALLS ON THE MUSLIMS TO LOOK FOR THE NEW CRESCENT OF SAFAR 1446 AH 03-08-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar has called on the Muslims in the country to look for the new crescent of SAFAR 1446 AH, tomorrow the 4th of August 2024, equivalent to Islamic Calendar 29th of MUHARRAM 1446 AH.
In a statement signed by the chairman advisory Committee on Religious Affairs Sultanate Council Sokoto ,prof. Sambo Wali Junaidu says if sighted, the information should be forwarded to the nearest district or village head for onward communication to the Sultan.
