PRESIDENT TINUBU RETURNS TO ABUJA AFTER A THREE-DAY OFFICIAL OUTING TO MALABO, CAPITAL OF EQUATORIAL GUINEA                                                                      16-08-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a three-day official outing to Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea, on the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema

During the visit, the President and his counterpart signed an agreement on Gulf of Guinea Pipeline Project to further affirm their countries’ partnership for mutual development.

The agreement covered legislative and regulatory measures for the gas pipeline, establishment and operation, transit of natural gas, ownership of the gas pipeline, and general principles.

Besides the pipeline agreement, the visit of the President saw to the resuscitation of the Nigeria-Equatorial Guinea Joint National Commission, under which many other bilateral activities were set in motion and to be activated in November, this year.
