KANO RECORDS 3 DEATHS DUE TO DISASTERS IN AUGUST-FIRE SERVICE 03-09-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Kano State Fire Service says three lives were lost due to different disasters in August 2024.
The public relations officer of Kano State Fire Service Saminu Yusif Abdullah disclosed to newsmen in Kano
According to him, three lives were also saved during the month under review.
He explained that properties worth ₦47.8 million were damaged while an estimated ₦102.9 million worth of properties were saved in August.
The public relations officer hinted that the Kano State Fire Service received 21 fire calls, 11 rescue calls, and 32 emergency calls
“The Director of the Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Hassan Ahmad Muhammad urged the public to handle fire with care to avoid incidents”
Saminu also advised motorists to drive carefully and abide by traffic laws to prevent road accidents.
