PRESIDENT TINUBU CALLS ON THE PEOPLE OF ONDO STATE TO EXERCISE THEIR FRANCHISE PEACEFULLY IN THE UPCOMING GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION 13-11-24
By Sadiq Aminu President Bola Tinubu has called on the people of Ondo state to exercise their franchise peaceful in the upcoming governorship election in Ondo slated for November 16th 2024.
President Tinubu gave the call at during the grand finale of the Ondo state governorship campaign at the MKO Abiola democracy park in Akure the State capital.
Represented by Vice President , Kashim Shettima, President Tinubu also urged the people to vote APC for political uniformity and progress.
The President announced the approval of the establishment of a federal teaching hospital in the state at the rally.
Addressing the people, Ondo state governor and the APC candidate , Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa called for a one minute silence in honor of late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and gave an assurance of better performance if elected .
Earlier , APC national chairman , Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje and the chairman APC national campaign council and Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu of Lagos advocated peaceful election.
Hundreds of APC members across the country attended the campaign including chairman governors forum , Alhaji Abudlrahman Abdulrazak,Imo state governor Mr Hope Uzodinma,former Edo state governor, Mr Adams Oshiomole,minister of interior Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo among others.
