By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   Zamfara State government in partnership with IMPACT PROJECT are set to renovate 147 Primary Healthcare Centers PHCs across the state’s 14 local government areas of the state

The state’s Commissioner for Health, Dr Aisha M. Anka announced this during the closing ceremony of the Bidding Summit and Opening in Gusau.

In a statement by the Information Officer for the Ministry, Sulaiman Isah says the Commissioner was represented by Alhaji Aminu Kaura, Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics of the Ministry, explained that, the project is divided into three categories.

She said phase 1 are 62 primary health cares, phase 2 51 PHCs, and phase 3, 34 PHCs.

The commissioner assured that, the Ministry would carefully evaluate the submitted bids to select contractors who meet the specified criteria.

She emphasized the importance of transparency and fairness in the procurement process.

Solomon, representing O and S Millionaire Investment, commended the Ministry for conducting a transparent and equitable bidding process.

Mallam Isah Maharazu of M. G. Nigeria Limited echoed this sentiment, urging the state government to maintain the level of transparency in future procurement activities.

The contracts would cover the renovation of 147 PHCs, upgrading and equipping the facilities, and renovating staff quarters.
