PEBEC APPEALS TO INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TO REMAIN CALM AS NIGERIA RESOLVES ISSUES OF CANCELLATION OF THE VISA ON ARRIVAL POLICY                                                                                                     24-02-25

By Sadiq Aminu.                                                      The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council PEBEC has appealed to the international community to remain calm and confident in Nigeria’s ability to resolve the issues surrounding the cancellation of the Visa on Arrival policy.

In a statement, the Director General of PEBEC, Princess Zahrah Audu promises that the council will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that Nigeria remains an attractive destination for investors, tourists, and businesses.

She says she understands the anxiety the development has created within the foreign community and would like to assure all stakeholders that PEBEC is actively engaging the Minister of Interior to find a solution to the issue.

Princess Zahrah explains that Nigeria’s primary objective is to strengthen security around the Visa on Arrival process while maintaining the policy, which has been instrumental in promoting tourism, trade, and investment in Nigeria.

The DG adds that PEBEC has a proven track record of driving reforms to improve the ease of doing business in Nigeria.
