APC SETS STAGE FOR NATIONAL CONVENTION IN MARCH 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a full schedule for its internal elections, paving the way to the party’s National Convention in March 2026. The timetable, released from the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, outlines a phased process to elect officials from the grassroots to the national level.
The exercise begins with a nationwide membership e-registration to update and verify records, followed by ward, local government, state, and zonal elections. Screening of aspirants and appeal mechanisms are built in to ensure transparency. The process will culminate in the National Convention, where top party leaders will be chosen and strategic decisions made.
