NIGER GOVT. HOLDS GRAND RECEPTION IN HONOUR OF NEW MINISTERS, SENATORS, HOUSE OF REPS MEMBERS, OTHERS
The Niger State Government has completed arrangements to host a Grand Reception in honour of the newly appointed Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by President, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, distinguished Senators, Honourable members of the House of Representatives and members of the State House of Assembly.
A statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman said other persons to be honoured include the Honourable Commissioners, Special Advisers and other Political Appointees.
The statement further stated that the Grand Reception is billed to hold on Saturday, 9th September, 2023 at the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre, Minna by 8:00 pm prompt.
According to the statement, the Special Guests of Honour are their Royal Highnesses, the Etsu Nupe and other Emirs, while the Governor, Rt. Hon. Muhammed Umaru Bago is expected to be the Chief Host.
Other expected guests at the occasion, the statement further revealed include Party Leaders, Distinguished Senior Citizens and Government functionaries.
Dignitaries are requested to be seated before 7:00 pm, the statement concluded.
