The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Badagry Unit Command, on Friday, decorated 12 of its newly promoted officers with their new ranks.

Addressing the newly promoted officers at the unit command’s office in Badagry, Mr Sulaiman Taiwo, the Unit Commander, said they should regard their promotions as a call for more commitment.

Taiwo also urged the promoted officers to redouble their efforts.

“Live up to expectations and contribute to the vision and mission of the Federal Road Safety Corps establishment,” he said.

Taiwo charged them to be of good behaviour in carrying out their duties, adding that the nation needs them to fulfill their responsibilities professionally.

“It is expected that you work to support the corporate strategy goal of the FRSC. Our mission has not changed, our vision remains the same.

“For those that were not promoted, be patient as promotion comes from God at the appointed time,” he said.

He urged them to put in their best in the course of their duties as new ranks called for more focus, more dedication, commitment and passion.

The unit commander commended the Corps Marshal, Dauda Biu, for improving the general welfare of the personnel of the corps.

Responding on behalf of the newly promoted officers, Mr Taiwo Ogundola, the Operation officer in charge of Oko-Afo, promised to be more dedicated to the service.

Ogundola said they would discharge every work assigned to them diligently without looking back.

Those promoted to the rank of Superintendent Route Commander included Patricia Sunday, Michael Akande, Tukur Mohammed, Eyitayo Adeoye, and Kehinde Abagun.

Babatunde Ogunjide, Sabo Anthony, Taiwo Ogundola, Peace Omega, and Nneka Eledo were promoted to the rank of Route Commanders.

Others promoted to the rank of Deputy Route Commander were Salisu Abubakar and Adeolu Esan.
