ORGANIZED LABOUR IN NASARAWA STATE AND  AFFILIATE UNIONS TROOPED TO LAFIA SQUARE TO MARK THE 2024 WORKERS DAY                                                                          01-05-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 The organized labour in Nasarawa State dressed in their various affiliate unions including Pensioners Union trooped to the Lafia Square to mark the 2024 Workers Day.

Some of the workers in an interview said they came out for the celebration with high hopes and expectations of a robust decision by the state government toward improving their welfare.

A health worker Mr Attah Aminu called on the state government to commence implementation of the long overdue promotion and annual increments.

Another worker Mrs Helen Paul noted that workers had been patient enough and could no longer afford to remain stagnant on the same level since 2017.
