NECO RELEASES THE 2023 INTERNAL SENIOR SCHOOL EXAMINATION CERTIFICATE SSCE RESULTS                                                                          10-10-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                          Announcing the result at the NECO Headquarters in Minna Niger State, the Registrar of the Council, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi said Seven Hundred and Thirty Seven Thousand 308 candidates scored Five credits and above in English Language and Mathematics.

According to the NECO Registrar, over One Million Two Hundred and Five candidates registered out of which One million one hundred and ninety six thousand candidates sat for the Examination .

He said the ratio of those that scored Five credits and above in English Language and Mathematics represented over Sixty One percent of the total number of the candidates that sat for the Examination.

Professor Wushishi pointed out that the number of males that equally scored the five credits and above in the two major courses are Six Hundred and Twenty one thousand while females were over Five Hundred and Eighty Four thousand.

The Registrar said during the conduct of the NECO Internal examination, Ninety three Schools were found to have engaged in mass malpractice, Ninety three Supervisors were also blacklisted for aiding and abeting exam malpractice while Twelve Thousand and thirty candidates were also caught for various malpractices.

Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi said those indicted would be invited to the Headquarters for questioning before taking the necessary sanction.
