NSCDC, IN ANAMBRA STATE REITERATES ITS COMMITMENT TO ENSURE HITCH FREE 2024 UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION                                                                                                                             24-04-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, in Anambra stàte has reiterated its commitment to ensure hitch free 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME .

The Commandant of the Corps in the state,Mr Olatunde Maku stated this after monitoring the conduct of the examination across CBT Centers in the State, yesterday (23/4/23).

He explained that the synergy between NSCDC and JAMB had yielded positive results in reducing examination malpractice in the state.

The State NSCDC Boss urged candidates for the examination to be law abiding, avoid being in possession of prohibited or incriminating items during the examination, stressing that the NSCDC personnel deployed for the assignment would be professional in carrying out their mandate.

He warned unauthorized persons against loitering around centres designated for the CBT Exams, restating that anyone found wanting would be arrested and prosecuted.

Mr Maku said the monitoring which was ongoing till the end of the examination period would ensure the seamless conduct of the exercise and promote transparency in the conduct of JAMB examination.

The Public Relations Officer of the Corps in the state, Mr Edwin Okadigbo explained that, Mr Maku said the visit afforded him an opportunity to reassure the JAMB State Coordinator Mrs. Jema Iheme of the security of candidates and staff of the organization, swift response to emergencies and enforcement of examination rules and regulations.
