MURDER ALLEGATION: ADO-DOGUWA REACTS TO APPEAL COURT JUDGMENT                                                                                 11-10-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                               The member representing Tudun Wada/Doguwa Federal Constituency of Kano State, Alhaji Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, has expressed confidence in the Nigerian judiciary, noting that the judiciary remains the last hope for the common man.
Alhaji Ado-Doguwa, while reacting to the Court of Appeal ruling in Abuja which dismissed a case of culpable homicide slammed against him by the Kano State Government, said the judgment is testimony of the nation’s good and reliable judicial system.
The lawmaker pointed out that for an individual to win a case against a state government like that of Kano, is proof that Nigeria’s judiciary remains the only hope of a common man.
“ For me this is a testimony of our good and reliable judicial system. Of course, for an individual to win a case against a desperate state government like that of Kano, is proof that Nigeria’s judiciary remains the only hope of a common man.”
Alhaji Ado Doguwa appreciated God for vindicating him and absolving him from the mischief of political opponents who intend to portray him bad in the face of the public
He said the Judicial tussle had made him stronger ahead of all leadership challenges.
The court of Appeal had ruled that the appeal by the Kano State Government lacked in merit, further affirming an earlier judgement by the Federal High Court, Abuja which acquitted the lawmaker.
