PDP IN BIDA NIGER NIGER STATE WANTS MEMBERS TO REFRAIN FROM ACTS INIMICAL TO PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE 20-10-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Bida Niger Niger State wants members to refrain from acts inimical to peaceful coexistence.
The call followed a meeting of the Elders Council of the Party in Bida.
Spokesman of the group, a Legal Luminary, Mr Zubairu Eshata urged Members to remain calm while awaiting a decision by the National body on a new party Chairman for the Area after the Congress was declared inconclusive last week.
The Stakeholders expressed concern over increasing cases of indiscipline and unnecessary animosity on the social media by Members.
According to Mr Zubairu Eshata, absence of congresses, reconciliatory committees and Elders Forum for a very long time has fueled crisis in the party.
He gave an assurance that many organs of the party would be reintroduced to strategize on the way forward.
Mr Zubairu Eshata called on Members to promote the ideals of the Party and shun bitterness.
Supporters of the two Chairmanship Candidates of the PDP in Bida have been at loggerhead after the Congress was suspended over alleged irregularities.
