MUSLIM COMMUNITY OFFERS SPECIAL PRAYERS FOR GOVERNOR KEFAS AGBU 08-01-25
By Sadiq Aminu The Muslim community in Taraba State performed the complete recitation of the Holy Qur’an and offered special prayers for Governor Agbu Kefas and the people of Taraba State.
The ceremony took place at the Saurara Jumma’at Mosque in Jalingo, the state capital on Saturday 4th January, 2025.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by special prayers led by the chief imams of some Juma’at mosques in the state.
Under the leadership of Malam Hussaini Isma’ila, Special Adviser on Muslim Religion Matters to the Governor, the event brought together Chief Imams and Islamic scholars from across the 16 LGAs of the state.
The Islamic scholars expressed their gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefas for his tireless efforts to build a greater Taraba for all.
In their prayers, the scholars sought Allah’s continued guidance, good health, and eternal success for the Governor and his team.
Malam Hussaini Ismaila, the Special Adviser to Governor Agbu Kefas on Muslim Religion matters, concluded the occasion with an appeal to the Muslim brothers and sisters in Taraba State to unite and support Governor Kefas’ administration.
The special prayer session organised by Malam Hussaini Isma’ila demonstrates the strong bond between the Muslim community and the current administration of Governor Agbu Kefas, as well as their collective commitment to peace, unity, and progress.
