PDP STARTS REGISTRATION, REVALIDATION EXERCISE, TARGETS 60 PER CENT ELECTORATE IN KWARA STATE 13-05-25
By Sadiq Aminu The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kwara state chapter says it will targets 60 per cent of electorate in the 2027 general elections during its physical membership registration and revalidation exercise across the 16 local government areas of the state.
Speaking with journalists in Ilorin, the state PDP chairman, Babatunde Mohammed, said that the membership drive is a direct response to the growing calls from people of the state, “who are eager to be part of the #RescueKwara Project#.
He said that the registration exercise would afford the main opposition party in Kwara state opportunity to know its strength and capacity before the next general elections.
The state PDP chairman, said that the registration and revalidation exercise would be conducted at all the 193 wards across the state.
Mohammed, explained that the exercise is designed to accommodate both fresh registrations for new members and revalidation for existing members, who seek to update their status in the party register for the issuance of their permanent membership cards.
He noted the membership registration exercise will commence on, May 17, this year.
On his part the Director, Research and Data of the party, Mallam Razaq Kamil, described the exercise as grassroots membership drive.
