KANO STATE: SUMAILA LGA ENDS LONG-STANDING WATER SCARCITY WITH ₦300M PROJECTS………

After decades without steady access to clean water, Sumaila Local Government Area in Kano State can now celebrate relief. The Kano State Government has completed ₦300 million worth of projects, including a 200,000-litre portable water facility, marking a historic breakthrough for the community.
Sumaila LGA Chairman, Alhaji Faruku Abdu Sumaila, praised Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the intervention, describing it as life-changing. The Senior Special Assistant on Local Government Matters, Alhaji Bashir Abubakar Yaro Galadima, commended the quality of work and reaffirmed the state’s commitment to improving lives through infrastructure.
The project is expected to boost health, improve living standards, and drive economic growth in Sumaila and beyond.
