EMIR OF TALATA MAFARA CONFERS TITLES ON YARI’S SON, OTHERS….

The Emir of Talata Mafara, Alhaji Mohammadu Bello Barmo, has turbaned Nasirudeen Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, son of former Zamfara Governor Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, as the Jagaban Mafara. The ceremony, held at the Emir’s palace, was graced by dignitaries, traditional rulers, and well-wishers from within and outside Zamfara State.
Speaking at the event, Senator Yari, represented by Dr. Lawal M. Liman, described the honor as a remarkable achievement for the Emirate and the entire state, while praying for continued progress and unity.
In his address, Emir Barmo expressed gratitude to Allah and charged the newly honored title holders to uphold the values of leadership, community development, and positive representation. He praised their longstanding ties with the Emirate and urged them to work tirelessly for the welfare of the people.
The ceremony was marked by colorful cultural displays, including friends of Nasirudeen arriving in traditional attire and riding decorated horses, showcasing the rich heritage of Talata Mafara.
