POLICE PROBE EXTORTION ALLEGATION IN KWARA

The Kwara State Police Command has launched an investigation into alleged extortion by some officers on the Osi-Eruku road in Ekiti Local Government Area.
Police spokesperson SP Adetoun Ejinre-Adeyemi said the Command is aware of a viral video showing the incident and that the Commissioner of Police has ordered a thorough probe.
She added that any officer found guilty will face disciplinary action, reaffirming the Command’s commitment to professionalism and accountability.
