2027: APC WOMEN GROUPS PLAN TWO MILLION WOMEN MARCH FOR TINUBU                                                            29-05-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                    As President Bola Tinubu marks his second year anniversary, about 250 All Progressives Congress (APC) women support groups across the country have concluded plans to organize a mass rally of two-million members in June for President Bola Tinubu.

The National Woman Leader of the party, Dr. Mary Alile, disclosed, during the inauguration of executive members of the Alliance of APC Registered Women Support Groups, at the party secretariat in Abuja.

The rally, she said would be used to show support of women for the reelection of the President.

Dr Alile charged the assembled zonal leaders to start aggressive mobilisation of loyal female supporters in their zones and ensure that the mass rally scheduled for June 26, 2025 becomes an outright success ahead of 2027 general elections.

“Until now, women’s voices are not being heard but since this administration came, things have changed and we are being properly represented and are being listened to by the government.

She added that female aspirants who purchased forms for chairmanship and councillorship positions in the forthcoming Federal FCT elections are heroines who should be encouraged by their fellow women.

The National Women’s Leader also commended the contributions of the Progressive Governors Forum to the growth of women, tressing the need for more from the governors to push women up the ladder of self-reliance and growth.
