WIFE OF NIGER STATE GOVERNOR VISITS MOKWA ACCIDENT SITE, DONATES 50 MILLION…………….

The wife of the Niger State Governor, Hajiya Fatima Bago, paid a heartfelt visit to Mokwa following the recent tragic accident that claimed several lives and left many others injured. During her visit, she sympathized with the victims and their families, offering words of comfort and solidarity.

In a strong show of support, Hajiya Fatima Bago donated ₦50 million to assist with medical expenses, support bereaved families, and contribute to the overall recovery process. She emphasized the need for unity and compassion in times of crisis and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to the well-being of its citizens.

Several other dignitaries and philanthropists, including the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar CFR who is also the Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers and Muhammad NDA, former Director of Currency Operations at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), also made contributions. Although the amounts donated were not disclosed, their gestures were deeply appreciated by both the community and local authorities.

Local leaders and residents of Mokwa expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the support and appealed for continued assistance as recovery efforts proceed.
