KANO GOV’T BOOSTS EDUCATION WITH ADMISSION LETTERS FOR SENIOR SECONDARY STUDENTS

The Kano State Government has begun distributing admission letters to students moving from junior to senior secondary schools, reaffirming its commitment to free and quality education.
At the flag-off in Kano, Education Commissioner Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda said Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s reforms, such as teacher recruitment, school renovations, and learning materials have strengthened the sector and led to Kano topping the 2025 NECO exams.
He urged parents to support government efforts by ensuring regular school attendance. Other education stakeholders also praised the governor’s dedication to improving standards and called for stronger community involvement.
