By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

Lawmakers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Zamfara State have declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.

The endorsement was made during a meeting of APC executives from wards, local governments, and the state level held in Talata Mafara. Senator Sahabi Yau Kaura moved the motion, seconded by Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu Bungudu, with both praising Tinubu’s leadership and calling for continuity.

Senator Abdulaziz Yari urged party members to unite and work together for the party’s progress, while also appealing to religious leaders to pray for the president’s success in tackling insecurity and economic challenges.

APC State Chairman Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani lauded Senator Yari and Minister of State for Defence Bello Matawalle for their dedication to the party’s growth, describing their efforts as invaluable.

The meeting was attended by key stakeholders, including former deputy governors, commissioners, and legislators.
